MASS MEDIA or MIXED MARTIAL ARTS: THE WEIGH IN - ENJOY!!!

Mass Media and Politics 

Mass Media can be defined as a medium of communication meant to appeal to the masses (radio, newspapers, television.).

Politics can be defined as the act of attempting to win or control government.

The link between the two, in my opinion is: "the act of attempting to win or control government by appealing to the masses."

As we DIVE into Mass Media and Politics, our understanding of the synchronization of the two will determine the effectiveness. 

We highlighted, through discussion, the recent seperation of the Republican Parties affialiation with CNN. As media highlighted that separation was that a KNOCK-OUT for the Republican Party or a LOW-BLOW to the Republican Party. 

My theme for this semester will focus on various political moves, commercials, advertisements, news coverage and other mass media aspects and highlighting political KNOCK-OUTS vs political LOW BLOWS!!!
